Your guide to the 105th National Convention
The American Legion’s 105th National Convention in New Orleans is Aug. 23-29. Attendees will participate in commission meetings, workshops, training sessions and Legion Family activities, as well as hear from distinguished guests, see award presentations and elect a new national commander on the convention floor at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Events and training (all events held at the convention center unless noted otherwise)
• Be the One symposium – Thursday, Aug. 22, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free but you can review the schedule and register to reserve a spot at this link.
• Credentialing Summit – Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel
• Community service project – Friday, Aug. 23 (offsite)
• Media Training Workshop – Monday, Aug. 26, 8:30 a.m. to noon
• Incoming district commanders training – Monday, Aug. 26, 9-11:30 a.m. at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel
• Job fair – Monday, Aug. 26, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside hotel. Online registration is available.
• Membership Training – Saturday, Aug. 24 and Monday, Aug. 26, 9 a.m.
• MyLegion – Monday, Aug. 26, 9-11:30 a.m. and 2-4:30 p.m.

• Donate blood during the Red Cross Blood Drive – Friday, Aug. 23 and Monday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but donors can also preregister for a slot on either day by scanning a QR code here.
Legion Family activities
• Legion Family night at the National World War II Museum – Sunday, Aug. 25, 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance.

2024 National Convention app
The 2024 American Legion National Convention mobile app is now available for free download from the Apple Store or Google Play. The app includes maps, information for meeting times, the floor agenda, a guide to New Orleans and more.
