What must improve most to reverse the military recruitment slide?

Our country is being run by a plethora of backstabbing, ladder climbing pseudo supremests who couldn't care less about the state of the Republic as long as they get their pockets lined. The Pentagon is occupied by mostly political appointees who are more concerned with a WOKE agenda than a battle ready military. You want the return of a lean military machine, get rid of the political @$$ kissers and replace them with officers who show they wont be intimidated by a bunch of limp wrists.
