Monmouth Battle Monument

This is a monument for the Battle of Monmouth, an important battle in our Revolutionary War. This monument is over 90 tall and is located directly in front of the Monmouth County Court House in Freehold, New Jersey. The monument was dedicated in November 13, 1884 at a very well attended ceremony. The monument was paid for by the Monmouth Battle Monument Association, Citizens of Monmouth County, the State of New Jersey, and those who had ancestors who fought in the battle.
