Texas nominees claim 3 of 4 American Legion employment awards

Two Texas companies and another that has worked with The American Legion Department of Texas in hiring events at Fort Cavasoz, Texas, were presented top awards Saturday from The American Legion’s Veterans Employment & Education Commission during the 105th National Convention of the nation’s largest veterans service organization, in New Orleans.

-              Small Business Employer of Veterans of the Year: HumCap of Plano, Texas, a company that specializes in human resources and talent recruitment

-              Medium-Sized Business Employer of Veterans of the Year: Wolverine Services, for dedication to recruitment of veterans/transitioning military personnel at Fort Cavasoz, Texas

-              Local Veterans Employment Service Local Office of the Year Award: Workforce Solutions of Central Texas.

-              Outstanding Employer Enhance the Lives of Disabled Persons Award: Bobby Dodd Institute of Atlanta
