Morrisville Veteran's Memorial

American Legion Post 33 Veteran’s Memorial Project in Morrisville, Vermont. Presented By: Randy R. Hill, Post 33 Historian, Morrisville, Vermont The Morrisville, Vermont Veteran’s Memorial Park has developed into a shrine over the years as additions and grounds beautification have made it a welcoming landmark near the center of the downtown district. The most recent additions being the granite tablets in tribute to the Morrisville Veterans who served when our Nation called. Thousands of names are sandblasted into the beautiful memorial. The tiny community of Wolcott, Vermont has this beautiful Veteran’s memorial, including the names of Post 33 founding members. The most recent memorial, saluting Veterans from each of the five branches of military service, as well as the Vermont Army and Air National Guard units. Hyde Park, Vermont is the Shiretown of Lamoille County and strongly supports her Veterans. This granite memorial sits next to the county courthouse. The beautiful, solemn, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, near the grounds of the VA Hospital in White River Junction, Vermont. Now serving our Nation, State, County and Community in our 95th year -- The Veterans Of American Legion Post 33, Morrisville, VT.
