American Legion Baseball coach rekindling success in Louisiana.

In 2016, Dave Peavey coached his Texarkana, Ark., Post 58 team to victory in The American Legion World Series championship game. Then he moved to Bossier City, La., and brought back American Legion Baseball. In 2024, Post 202's second year, he and his new team are in Shelby, N.C. as the Mid-South Regional Champions.
