Consumer Cellular partners with American Legion to offer plan discounts and support veteran mental health
Consumer Cellular, the most awarded brand for wireless customer service by J.D. Power, is partnering with The American Legion to offer all American Legion members discounted pricing on their new and existing phone plans. In addition, Consumer Cellular will help take action on veteran mental health and donate to Be the One, The American Legion’s initiative to reduce the number of veterans and servicemembers lost to suicide.

The number one issue facing the veteran community today is suicide. It is estimated that between 17 and 22 veterans or service members take their lives each day – a rate 50% higher than that of non-veteran adults. Consumer Cellular will donate to the Be the One effort through special sign-up drives and events in partnership with The American Legion.
