Thursday, Aug. 24, is the first day of official activities at the 104th American Legion National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. The schedule is light, but things are underway.

20/4 Meeting: Charlotte Convention Center (CCC), Room 214, Meeting Level, 7 a.m.
SAL Advisory Committee: Westin Charlotte (WC), Morehead, 2nd Floor, 8 a.m.
Employment Workshops - Civilian Résumé, Financial Literacy, Federal Résumé: WC, Grand Ballroom A, 2nd Floor, 9 a.m.
Employment Networking Luncheon (ticket required): WC, Grand Ballroom B, 2nd Floor, 12 p.m.
Hiring Our Heroes Transition and Benefits Career Fair: WC, Grand Ballroom C, 2nd Floor, 1 p.m.

Also on Thursday, the Legacy Run will complete the last day of its ride, from Bristol, Tenn., to the Hendrick Motorsports campus in Concord, northeast of Charlotte.
