Arona War Memorial

Arona War Memorial

This is a new memorial that replaced a World War II honor roll. It features a 7-foot monument of polished red granite surrounded by a concrete plaza, blue granite benches and a flower garden. An eagle emblem and five bronze medallions representing the five military branches from the old monument were incorporated into the new. It was designed by Chris Odasso of Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home and Monuments. It honors those from Arona who served the nation.
