Poppy's (LTC Ed Sweeney, Jr.) Memorial flagpole

Poppy's Memorial flagpole, funded by his childhood Boston friends, was given to grandchildren of retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Edward J. Sweeney, Jr., a Vietnam veteran and Silver Star recipient, to pay tribute to his life of service to our nation and community. It is placed in his grandchildren's backyard with the beautiful Rocky Mountains in the background.
