Korean and Vietnam Conflicts Monument
The monument is located in the Clinton, New York Village Green. It is maintained by the Village of Clinton. A wreath is placed by the monument during the annual Memorial Day ceremony by representatives of the Helmuth-Ingalls American Legion Post 232 and the Schilling-Burns-Young Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9591 in Clinton. The purpose of the monument is engraved on the stone: “This memorial is dedicated to those brave 6 Americans from the Village of Clinton and the Town of Kirkland who served their country in the armed forces and gave their lives during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Korea: June 27, 1950 – January 31, 1955 and Viet Nam: August 5, 1964 – May 7, 1975.“
