Col Leroy Hammond Park

Served as a Regimental Commander during the Indian Wars of 1754 - 1763, LeRoy Hammond married Mary Ann Tyler in 1760 when he was 32 years old. The couple's only child, Leroy, was born on May 5, 1762, in Richmond, Wise, Virginia Colony. He represented the Ninety Sixth District in the Provincial Congresses, the General Assembly, and the Legislative Council.
