Bellwood Veterans Memorial
Bordered with American flags and flags of each branch of service, the memorial pays respect to every military veteran of the Village of Bellwood as well as those connected to the area through family. There are currently 342 bricks in the memorial. Bricks feature the names of soldiers who served in conflicts dating back to the Civil War. Names include Purple Heart recipients, prisoners of war and those who were killed in action.
