One main pillar with Civil War infantry soldier bronze statue at top. Unfortunately the tree near the memorial blocks the front view of the top statue, although the side view does make it appear as if the soldier is entering a brush line. On east side (rear of monument) inscription reads, “Lady Washington Circle No. 15 Dept. of Illinois G.A.R.”
