A section of the cemetery is dedicated for burial of veterans. The memorial area is marked by a raised gray granite monument and flower vase, with an adjacent flagpole. The monument is inscribed: "VETERANS SECTION" and depicts a “doughboy” soldier in a World War I period uniform playing “Taps” on a bugle, in front of a flying American Flag. Surrounding the memorial are the individual markers of veterans.
