American Legion Family members in Oregon distribute nearly 800 bracelets to educate veterans and civilians about how they can “Be the One” to save a veteran’s life.

The retreat gave Legionnaires in the 1st District the opportunity to come together for a day of learning and camaraderie. 

These four business-size cards can be printed to keep and share with others to help save the life of a veteran. 

American Legion Post 373 in Baldwinville, Mass., is bringing together VA representatives, local agencies and others to share resources with veterans and their families.

The American Legion has released new promotional materials to assist posts that are hosting or participating in suicide awareness events and other community activities related to Be the One.
