Student Veterans of America Vice President of Government Affairs Tammy Barlet, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, leads a panel discussion among three veterans each with a different story – Vivian Eng Bendewald, Dr. Tahina Montoya and Mohamed Hammadi – and one dependent, Janelle Edge, who have used GI Bill education benefits. Ecxplained Edge, who is now pursuing her master’s degree: “It was a blessing to me, truly. I don’t know how I would have gone through college without this valuable resource, and it’s all thanks to my dad and the sacrifices that he made.”
