Hiring event in conjunction with Legion’s 104th National Convention

The American Legion and Hiring Our Heroes are presenting a hiring fair and career events in conjunction with the Legion’s 104th National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.

The event will take place on Aug. 24 at the Westin Charlotte, 601 South College St., Charlotte, N.C. 28202.

Employment workshops for jobseekers will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a networking luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. The in-person career fair will take place from 1 to 4 p.m.

The employment workshops cover financial literacy (9 a.m. to 10 a.m.), translating military resumes to civilian resumes (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.), and how to craft a federal resume (11 a.m. to noon).
