Three members of Ryan Winslow Post 911 were recognized for their achievements at the National Veterans Awards Dinner on November 10, 2023.

Brian Crawford received the Soaring Eagle Award for his work as co-founder of the Central Alabama Veterans Collaborative.

Bob Barefield was recognized as the American Legion Department of Alabama Veteran of the Year.

Linda DeMarco was recognized as Veteran of the Year for the Military Officers Association of America.

American Legion National Vice Commander Charlie Aucoin addressed the audience during the dinner.
