On Jan. 15, 2023, American Legion Post 59, along with other veteran organizations, hosted a Wellness Event that included yoga - both chair and mat - meditation and breath work. The event was sponsored by Warrior Strong, Inc., which coordinated the entire program and provided the speakers and instructors. Warrior Strong provided the refreshment as well as yoga mats for anyone needing one. Other host organizations included Welcome Home Vets of New Jersey, Operation Sisterhood and VFW Post 3401. The event was held at the facilities of Post 3401 in Morris Plains, N.J.

Tom Tice, CEO of Warrior Strong, noted that “the attendance was great, and I saw a great amount of networking and connection between the younger and older veterans. We look forward to offering this opportunity again in the near future.”
American Legion Post 59 Commander Norus Achmetov said, “We were very pleased to see the turnout and thank Warrior Strong and their team for a great day.”
