Mohr Monument
Volunteer fireman, Henry Theodore Mohr, was the first person from Freeport, New York to die in combat during World War I. The Freeport Fire Department honored their colleague by planting a tree and dedicating this monument. The monument was later moved to the grounds of the Freeport Memorial Library.
