The "Silent Saddle Empty Boots" bronze statue honors all veterans with a photo engraving under the statue presenting the initial twenty Jackson Hole men who volunteered for World War I. The Monument is a fitting entrance to Jackson from the North and serves to remind visitors and locals alike of the many contributions post members have made to the community and county. Local stone masonry supports the bronze horse statute and American Flag. Dedicated in 2005. The monument is in excellent condition in view of all passersby and is illuminated for night time viewing.
