Rockledge-Fox Chase men and women who served in the great war, WWI
Two 13 foot high granite monuments flanking Route #232 in Pennsylvania at the county line of Philadelphia County and Montgomery County. Two 32 inch high bronze culdrens sit atop each monument. On two sides of each monument are bronze plaques. Monument to the south contains the men and women who served from the community of Fox Chase in Philadelphia. On the opposite side of that same monument is a description of the Emergency Aid Committee and its purpose. The monument to the north contains the names of the men and women who served from the community of Rockledge Borough, Montgomery County. The monuments were rebuilt in 2008 by Past Commander Conrad J. Kraus of Post 366, Corporal John Loudenslager, and his wife Jennie Grace Kraus. Through continued efforts they are now entered into the Pennsylvania Historic Society collections.
