Four plaques with the names of employees of the City of Pittsburgh who served in the armed forces during World War I. The plaques are displayed on marble walls in the grand lobby of the City-County Building. The grand lobby features a 47 foot high barrel vaulted ceiling. The ceiling is supported by bronze columns created by Louis Tiffany Studios. The building, opened in 1917, was in the Beaux Arts style designed by famed architect Henry Hornbostel.
