Ashland All Wars Memorial

Ashland All Wars Memorial
A committee was formed in 1944 to raise money for a monument to honor veterans of World War II. On July 2, 1944, the Ashland Military Honor Roll was dedicated at Centre Street and Hoffman Boulevard. It was a wooden structure and over the years it deteriorated and was removed. In 1974 the VFW auxiliary assisted Post 7654 along with the American Legion Post 434 to raise funds for the Veterans' Memorial that stands here currently.
