The memorial museum contains 4,000 square feet of display and sits on 4 acres of land available for outside memorial displays. Veteran's Museum honors all McCurtain County Veterans from all wars and was formed in 2005. Photographs and stories of the veterans as well as memorabilia are on display. McCurtain County Veteran's Memorial Museum boasts an extensive collection of military artifacts and pictures of veterans, many with their story. Displays of Jess Watson and other McCurtain Veterans are honored in the form of a collage. The black vertical granite memorial has engraved at bottom "McCurtain Veteran Memorial" and has a beautiful engraving of airplanes, and soldiers fighting with a gigantic American eagle with the words engraved below of "Dedicated to all the men and women who have honorably and faithfully served in the armed forces of the United States of America." Three beautiful gray vertical granite slabs are engraved on both sides and is located in front of the Museum. The vertical granite slabs have the various services emblems engraved on one side and the center stone is engraved in alphabetical order with the names of many of the WWII veterans from this area.
