At the triangle created at the intersection of Route 79 and Route 537 is an area dedicated to Freehold's killed in action in all wars from the Civil War to present. A marker representing each dead service member holds an American flag and a brick paver on the ground shows the name, date KIA, and branch of service. This location has been dedicated to Freehold's military for many years, but the dedication for the current version of the park was on the listed installation date, September 1, 2014.
