July Impact: Big job fair, over $500k in scholarships and fresh produce

The American Legion hit its summer stride in the month of July, delivering over a half-million dollars in youth scholarships and capping off an effort that provided over a quarter-million pounds of fresh produce to fight food insecurity in Arizona. Meanwhile, 12 American Legion departments reported target-beating membership performance for the year, through July.

Across communities, states and the nation, the Legion made impacts in dozens of ways, including a message of support for Afghan allies seeking U.S. residency and those left under Taliban rule who need Special Immigrant Visas to escape danger.
