ALA Unit #245 Joan Runk, president of ALA Unit #245, Cross Plains has done some amazing things with the children in the community. Along with two other officers, Joan began regularly reading to young children at the local library. Not only did Joan and her officers enrich the lives of the community’s youth, but by wearing an ALA shirt, was able to promote the message of our wonderful organization. This is just one of the many ideas that come from your monthly unit mailings from department.
