Outreach effort scheduled for April 14-17 in Little Rock and at Legion posts throughout the state.
The American Legion Department of Arkansas is staging a veteran outreach and post revitalization efforts April 14-17 in Little Rock. Veterans in the areas are invited to discuss veterans’ benefits, and learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community.
The effort will take place from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. each day at American Legion Department of Arkansas Headquarters, 1415 W. 7th Street #2, Little Rock. A veteran service officer will be available to assist area veterans with claims or other veteran benefit related questions on all three days.
Additionally, American Legion posts across the state also will be available during those days to provide similar information and services for veterans in their areas. Veterans and their families may contact Arkansas Department Headquarters to determine participating locations.
