American Legion Post 255 to host revitalization event Oct. 12.
The American Legion Department of Alabama is staging a veterans outreach and post revitalization effort Oct. 12 in Birmingham, Ala. Veterans in Jefferson County are invited to discuss veterans’ benefits, and learn about the Legion’s legislative efforts, membership opportunities and service to the community. A veteran service officer will be available to discuss claims and other benefits questions.
The effort will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at American Legion Post 255, 3855 Old Black Creek Road, Birmingham.
