District revitalization and veterans service sessions taking place Oct. 6-7 in Ellinwood.
National staff is teaming up with Department of Kansas Legionnaires for a district revitalization and veterans outreach effort this weekend in South Central Kansas.
Veterans in the area are invited to a special service session taking place Friday and Saturday at Hines-Gossman American Legion Post 320, 117 E. Santa Fe, Ellinwood. The hours are 1-5 p.m. Oct. 6 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 7.
A county veterans service officer will be available from 1-4 p.m. Oct. 7 to assist with Department of Veterans Affairs-related questions or claims.
