Legion to testify on veteran suicide, Mission Act legislation

The hearing before the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs will be livestreamed at 2:30 p.m. EST.

American Legion Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation Director Cole Lyle will testify Tuesday, Dec. 17, before the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Health. Lyle will address pending and draft legislation affecting veteran healthcare that The American Legion supports and/or opposes. 

The hearing will begin at 2:30 p.m. EST. Watch the livestream here.

Legislation scheduled to be addressed at the hearing includes:

·         H.R. 6333, Veterans Emergency Care Reimbursement Act
