June 14 is Flag Day. If you have an American flag at home, be sure to fly it on Flag Day … and every other day of the year! If you have been meaning to purchase an American flag, visit the American Legion Flag and Emblem website at www.emblem.legiion.org.
Every Monday at 7 p.m. CST, another 80 meter net is conducted by Art W5ATK from Enterprise, Ala. Net is on 3.865 LSB.
Post 275, Glenarden, Md., is experimenting with the HF net which has been conducted on the second Saturday of each month. For a trial period of three months, the net has moved to 40 meters at 7.275 and will operate a two-hour net from 10 a.m. to noon Eastern time. See N3TAL on QRZ.com for QSL info.
The Post 46 Wilderness Road American Legion holds a monthly D-Star net on the first Monday of every month at 8 p.m. EST on Ref 56C, and EchoLink Node of KY4RW-L. Early check-ins are accepted ½ hour before net starts.
Post 275, Upper Marlboro, holds a monthly Wires-X on the third Tuesday of every month on Room 21433 at 7 p.m. EST.
