18 departments hit 80% membership target date

The 85% target date is Feb. 12.

American Legion departments have been successful for the 2025 membership year in meeting membership target dates. Congratulations to 18 departments for meeting or exceeding the 80% membership target date on Jan. 15: Departments of France, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Hawaii, Michigan, New Hampshire, Arizona, Minnesota, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Texas, Vermont, Nevada and Virginia. 

Let's keep the momentum going with the following membership target dates:

Feb. 12 – 85%

March 12 –  90%

April 9 –  95% 

May 14 –  100%

Any department commander who meets or exceeds the 100% goal by the May target date will receive a framed certificate, presented by the national commander at the national convention. This award does not include a trip to the national convention.
