On Memorial Day, American Legion Family members honor the more than 1 million men and women who have lost their lives defending America since the Revolutionary War by hosting post events, participating in community parades, dedicating memorials and more.
Please share with the American Legion Media & Communications Division how your American Legion Family is observing this sacred holiday by emailing dispatch@legion.org with details about your plans. American Legion Family members are also encouraged to upload recaps and photos of their Memorial Day celebrations to Legiontown.org.
