If you have yet to renew for 2024, now is the time to select a three-year membership before the July 1, 2024, dues increase.

Over 10,100 American Legion members have selected the new three-year membership option and you can too.

Need to renew for 2025 before the July 1, 2024, national per-capita dues increase? You can easily renew or join now with a multiyear for 2025, 2026 and 2027. Here’s how:

- For renewals, visit legion.org/renew and select the three-year membership option.

- For new joins, visit legion.org/join and select the three-year membership option.

American Legion posts can encourage members and new joins at the post level to select a three-year membership option. Here's an example how. The Department of Maryland is asking posts to set up a computer for members to come in and use when renewing for 2024 or 2025 to select the three-year option.

Reminders about multiyear membership:

- Multiyear membership sign-up is only available on the national American Legion website (legion.org/renew and legion.org/join). Current or potential members cannot renew or join for a three-year membership at the post level or through MyLegion.org.

- Payment for the three-year membership is upfront.

- There is not a discounted rate with the three-year membership.

- Membership cards will still be sent annually by Legion posts.

- Those who sign up for a multiyear membership will not receive a renewal notice during the time they have signed up for the multiyear membership.
