Over Memorial Day weekend, American Legion Family members nationwide will be honoring the more than 1 million men and women who have lost their lives defending America in wars from the Revolution to the global war on terrorism. National Poppy Day
Friday, May 24, is National Poppy Day, when a red poppy is worn to honor the fallen and show support for all veterans. www.legion.org/poppyday
Flag Day speech

Scholarship reminder
If your post or Auxiliary unit is sending youth to American Legion Boys State or Auxiliary Girls State, please remind the students about the Samsung American Legion Scholarship.
