FODPAL web page on national website gives Legionnaires an opportunity to tell about encounters with Legion posts outside the borders of the United States.

The American Legion’s new dedicated web page for FODPAL (Foreign and Outlying Departments and Posts of The American Legion) currently has more than 15,000 members and more than 250 posts around the world. The "foreign and outlying" Legion departments are Alaska, Hawaii, France, Mexico, the Philippines and Puerto Rico. FODPAL posts can be found in Canada, Ireland, Greece, Germany, Costa Rica, Panama and beyond.

The new FODPAL site is intended to answer questions and build awareness of the Legion’s influence outside the continental United States. And it’s an opportunity for Legionnaires to share their personal impressions from traveling. If you have visited a Legion post outside the borders of the continental United States, share your story at the FODPAL site: www.legion.org/fodpal/share and www.legion.org/fodpal
