Concert bands to compete at convention center.
The business of the national convention in New Orleans begins in earnest on Saturday, Aug. 24, including:
- National commission and committee meetings;
- Educational opportunities such as Subject Matter Training and the Continuing Education Workshop;
- The Band Contest in the New Orleans Theater on the 2nd floor of the convention center.
