A special salute to veterans

Let’s cheer on Jimmie Johnson and The American Legion No. 48 Carvana Honda on July Fourth as it represents around 100 military service units.

Dear American Legion Family Members and Friends,

When Jimmie Johnson is driving the No. 48 Carvana Honda in partnership with The American Legion this weekend, around 100 service units will be along for the ride.

The American Legion and Carvana worked together to create the special “Salute to Service” July Fourth livery for the Mid-Ohio INDYCAR race. American Legion members were among veterans who shared their service patches that have been added to the livery for this race.

In all, three different designs were submitted for fan voting and the one you see here was victorious.

Tune in at noon Eastern time on NBC. Let's all be sure to watch the No. 48 Carvana Honda and cheer Jimmie Johnson to victory on Sunday!
