Legion, SBA hosting conference for veteran, military spouse small business owners

The free event ahead of the Washington Conference can also be attended virtually.

The American Legion and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will present a small business conference for veterans and military spouses prior to the Washington Conference.

The Small Business Conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET Feb. 21 in the Georgetown West Room at the Washington Hilton Hotel, 1919 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20009. The free conference can also be attended online.

Attendees will learn from the best in the business and up-to-date information they can use to help create or grow their businesses.

Topics discussed will include how to start a business using Amazon, the advantages of franchising, effective banking practices, mastering federal contracts, and so much more.

There will also be time for networking opportunities.
