The team from Troy’s Post 70 will be special guests at Game 2 of the World Series on Saturday.

The 2024 American Legion World Series champions from Troy (Ala.) Post 70 will be special guests at Game 2 of Major League Baseball’s World Series on Saturday.

The team will also participate in a Play Ball clinic in Los Angeles in an effort to give back to the sport that has provided the players and coaches with great opportunities.

Play Ball is a committed effort to spark widespread participation in all forms of baseball activities among all age groups, especially youth.

They’ll follow their Play Ball activities Saturday morning as special guests of MLB at Game 2 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees. The two franchises are No. 1 (Yankees, 41 appearances) and No. 2 (Dodgers, 22) in World Series appearances but are meeting in the championship series for the first time since 1981.
