Attend Media Training Workshop
The American Legion will host a Media Training Workshop at the 105th National Convention in New Orleans on Monday, Aug. 26. A prize drawing will be held for workshop attendees.
The Media Training Workshop will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Room 257, Second Floor, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Panelists will discuss how to:
- Create QR codes for recruiting new members, events, fundraising efforts and more
- Design an award-winning newsletter
- Build a robust Facebook page
- Use available Be the One resources for a successful post, district or department event
- Enhance interviewing skills
- Get media to post events
