The American Legion is pleased to recognize recipients of membership recruiting awards – Gold Brigade, Silver Brigade and Bronze Brigade – and the National Recruiter of the Year for 2024.

American Legion National Commander Daniel Seehafer set a goal of 78,000 new traditional members for the 2024 membership year. To date, 75,123 new members have been recruited at the local post level.  The American Legion is pleased to recognize Legionnaires for their recruiting efforts at the post level. These Legionnaires are recipients of the Gold Brigade, Silver Brigade and Bronze Brigade membership recruiting awards, and the National Recruiter of the Year for 2024.

For the fifth time, the National Recruiter of the Year is Patricia Liddell of American Legion Post 333 in Columbus, Ga., who recruited 257 new members for the 2024 membership year. Liddell will receive an all-expense paid trip to the 105th National Convention in New Orleans, and she will be recognized on the convention stage.
