On Sunday, Aug. 25, attendees of the 105th American Legion National Convention in New Orleans will have a special opportunity to tour the National WWII Museum, rated the No. 1 attraction in the city and No. 3 museum in the United States by Tripadvisor.
The event will take place from 6-9 p.m. The museum is located at 945 Magazine St. – about a half-mile from the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center – and its parking garage at 1024 Magazine St. In addition to visiting the exhibits, entertainment will be provided by the Victory Belles and the Department of Minnesota 9th District Band.
Tickets are $15 and must be purchased in advance. Open the flyer at legion.org/convention/resources to scan the QR code for the ticketing web page. All sales are final, and no refunds will be offered. All expired tickets are considered a donation to the museum’s mission.
