Giving for a good cause
As in the last few years, the 2018 American Legion national convention will host a blood drive.
The 100th National Convention Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall (Hall C, Level 1) of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Walk-ins are welcome, but attendees can also schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-733-2767, or by going to www.redcrossblood.org and entering "American Legion."
According to the latest American Legion Consolidated Post Report, more than 45,000 donors gave more than 75,000 pints of blood in 2016.
