In addition to making himself available for newspaper, website and television interviews, the national commander is scheduled to appear on another 13 radio shows to be broadcast over the next two weeks.

While still abiding by his governor’s stay-at-home order, American Legion National Commander James W. “Bill” Oxford has been busy making media appearances from his home in Lenoir, N.C.

This past weekend, Oxford was a guest on Frontlines of Freedom, a radio show and podcast hosted by Michigan Legionnaire and retired Army Lt. Col, Denny Gillem. During the brief interview, which can be heard here, Oxford discussed the Buddy Check program and The American Legion’s response to the COVID-19 emergency.

In addition to making himself available for newspaper, website and television interviews, Oxford is scheduled to appear on another 13 radio shows to be broadcast over the next two weeks. The American Legion will post the interviews on www.legion.org once they are initially broadcast by the hosting stations and the syndicated shows.
