The eight teams are set for the 2019 American Legion World Series in Shelby, N.C., and each team will have a chance to play on national television.
Interest in the event continues to grow as television coverage has increased for the sixth time in seven years and television viewership has grown steadily and is estimated to be more than 700,000 viewers over the week.
