Consolidated Post Reports
The American Legion annually testifies before Congress about the state of veterans affairs and the active-duty military, and how the Legion can best contribute to making a stronger America. The audience is always an eye-opener for members of Congress who might not know just how much the Legion serves veterans and the community. Posts can add extra weight to the national commander's testimony by submitting Consolidated Post Reports, which inform National Headquarters of all that the Legion accomplishes at the post level. CPRs create a collective voice for the Legion and serve to unify the 14,600 posts worldwide.

Unfortunately, only about 50 percent of Legion posts fill out CPRs each year. The Legion needs each and every post to submit a report if it is to let Congress know just how much we are "still serving America," whether it's through blood drives, troop-support activities, or any of the many Legion programs being conducted across the nation. Full participation is imperative if National Headquarters is to present an accurate picture of the Legion's achievements and accomplishments, particularly for the national commander's congressional testimony.
Please take the time to tell us about your post's service.
It's not just your story; it's The American Legion's story.
